I often get asked to help clients to move their website in a search engine friendly way after a redesign or because they would like to change hosting providers. What we do has become second nature, but one of my clients asked me to produce a checklist for them so that they could have some peace of mind - launching a new website when you have top 5 rankings for a raft of phrases in one of the most competitive online markets does tend to give rise to some anxiety. I thought the list might be useful for others, so I have copied it below. Oh, and we're updating our own website platform so it'll soon be a lot more up to date, with proper blogging functionality amongst other things!
